Full Job Description:
Well-established landscape company looking for a full-time skilled tree and palm trimmer that can:
- Safely trim trees and palms and prune trees to promote healthy growth.
- Operate chainsaws, pole saws, and power pruners.
- Cut away dead or excess branches and shrubbery.
- Climb trees with safety devices to properly cut down limbs.
- Use lifts and power tools to gain access to high areas.
- Remove debris and take away large limbs for disposal.
- Utilize climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms.
- Use shovels and rakes to clean up debris.
- Manage and coordinate with work crews.
- Inspect trees to see if there are any issues, such as diseases, infections, insect damage, or fungus.
- Ensure the worksite remains safe by putting up caution tape, cones, and signs around the work area.
